How to Send a Property Mandate or Lease for Electronic Signature

Select or Create a Template
Navigate to the 'Documents' tab in your dashboard and click 'New Document'. You can select an existing agency template (like a Sole Mandate or standard Lease Agreement) or use the Form Builder to create a new one.
Input Signatory Details
Enter your client's name and email address. PropSign is entirely frictionless for your clients — they do not need to download an app or create a PropSign account. The system generates a secure, token-gated link sent directly to their inbox.
Review the signing workflow details
Before sending, confirm the template, signer role, and contact details are correct. The signer will see the agency-branded landing page, POPIA notice, and the fields they need to complete before signing.
Send and Track Status
Click 'Send'. From your dashboard, you can track the real-time status of the document. You will see exactly when the client opens the email, when they view the document, and when it is signed. If they forget, you can trigger a reminder with one click.
