How to Send a Document for Signing
Once you have a template, sending a document to a client takes about 3 minutes. Here is how.
Go to Documents and click New Document
In your dashboard, click 'Documents' in the left menu, then 'New Document'. You will be asked to choose a template.
Select your template
Choose the template that matches what you want to send — for example, 'Sole Mandate — Residential Sales'. Click 'Use Template'.
Fill in the document fields
PropSign shows you all the fields from your template. Fill in your client's name, property address, dates, and any other details. These are the specifics for this particular client and property.
Add your client
Enter your client's name, email address, and phone number. You can also choose an existing client from your client list. PropSign will send the signing link to the email address you enter here.
Review and send
Check everything looks correct. Click 'Send for Signing'. PropSign sends the email to your client immediately.
Track the status
Back in your Documents list, you will see the document with a status of 'Pending'. When your client signs, it changes to 'Signed'. You receive an email notification as soon as they sign.
Tip
If a client says they never received the email, check your Documents list, open the document, and click 'Resend'. Also ask them to check their spam folder.
