What Your Client Sees When They Sign
Many delays happen because clients are confused when they receive a signing link. This guide shows you exactly what they see, so you can set expectations and answer their questions before they ask.
They receive a branded email
The email shows your agency name and logo (not 'PropSign'). It explains what document they are being asked to sign and who sent it. There is one large button: 'Review & Sign'.
They see the document summary
PropSign shows a simple summary of the document in plain English — the property address, key dates, and what the document means. This reduces the 'I don't understand what I'm signing' phone calls.
They see the POPIA consent notice
A short notice explains: what personal information is collected, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and how long it is kept (usually 7 years). The client ticks a box to confirm they have read it.
They sign
The client draws or types their signature. On a phone, they use their finger. The whole process takes about 2 minutes.
They see a confirmation screen
After signing, the screen says 'Document Signed Successfully'. The client receives an email with the signed PDF attached.
Tip
Tell your clients in advance: 'You will receive an email from PropSign on behalf of [Your Agency Name]. Click the button inside to sign the document.' This reduces confusion and speeds up turnaround.
